This is actually fitting because this was quite recent for me, ha. I remembered an old dish I used to make while I was lounging in headspace. Laksa. I had to google an actual recipe because I couldn’t remember it off the top of my head, but I remember that flavor and that broth and the good seafood… delicious.

It turned out pretty alright actually. Definitely needs some tweaks if I ever make it again, but it was alright for a first attempt. I’m sure the aunt who taught me how to make it originally was judging me in shame LOL I know it wasn’t up to her standards. So sorry, I have once again dishonored the family name. I know there’s also some secret ingredient spice she added that I can’t remember. One of our headmates who is very talented in cooking is convinced it’s turmeric but frankly I have no idea. I’ll report back if I ever figure it out.

I have been thinking of my family a lot recently. I care about them deeply and I do miss them. If it was possible, I’d love to reunite again, but the chances of that are quite low. But that’s my own battle to come to terms with. For the time being, I’ll wish you all well on your journeys, wherever they’re taking you.

For me, my journey consists of taking a twelve year nap, thinking about kissing women, and talking with this delightful little squirt who keeps me company. I’d love to introduce her to you all at some point, though I imagine it’d be a bit confusing at first traveling with someone who looks like Siffrin and chose the name Stardust for itself. They’re young, but she’s made me laugh harder than I have in ages. I’m sure you’d all get along.
