for the last time, i did not see humans as literal monsters or flesh piles or whatever the fuck people want to interpret it as. i saw the human form, my reaction to it was just fear and disgust. i didn’t hallucinate (although i did experience psychosis related to my disorder), i just hated how every human looked. my disorder caused me to associate the human form with terror and hatred. that’s all.
i’m not going to begrudge anyone their interpretations, but it bothers me that people seem to think i was just constantly hallucinating when that wasn’t the case at all. it was more like my disorder caused my neurons to fire incorrectly when i saw any human that wasn’t myself. there was no literal change in what i saw. just how i perceived it. that’s why i was able to recognize and tell the difference between my peers.
