fire crackles: describe your ideal winters evening

I am warm and cuddling with someone I love and who loves me. We are watching our respective family’s favorite holiday movies/specials. Our bills are paid, we are safe at home, and there are leftovers in the fridge to reheat for a late night snack if we get hungry before bed. There’s a tiny Christmas tree decorated far beyond what it was built for. Everything is soft and still and quiet and calm and we are happy.
