my ocd was so bad as a kid whenever i would ask my mom if i could have a piece of candy she would say yes and then i would be like "you said yes right" in case i somehow misheard her fully-consistent-every-time single-syllable response which i of course was also very intently focused upon. its a good thing that doesnt happen any more 👍 hey does that clearly-flush-with-wall door look closed to you. better get up and investigate a few times🧐

they should make another cleaning game like in the same vein as luigi's mansion + super mario sunshine because i really enjoyed all the vacuuming and powerwashing of city surfaces

streets are saying it's ocd awareness month and i'd love to say something funny with like a meme or joke or something but honestly this mental illness nearly drove me to suicide multiple times because of the horrible images in my head that made me sick and guilt over crimes i didn't commit so honestly fuck this illness i hope it dies and go read up on ocd because someone you know probably has it, you might have it, and knowing more about the illness helps you/the people in your life feel less crazy and alone the end

i think the funniest like misconception (maybe misperception?) about long term mental health conditions is like its just something that occasionally happens in ur personal life. like mental illness is a private sphere issue. so if youre at work then thats cool and then you come home on thursdays and your hobby from 5-7pm is having OCD. and then you go about the rest of your evening NO i am literally thinking about the ethics of everything i do all the time and it's tearing me apart. actually

before i Really understood what OCD was or speculated about having it i just thought i was genuinely born evil like legitimately Evil and needed to excessively punish myself or die immediately like i can't express to you how truly wrong my existence has felt. and it didn't help that abuse also made me Truly believe i was evil and deserved everything that happened to me . but it's crazy looking back like baby u have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder u weren't born evil......ur not even the most evil person ever that's silly.............
