Familiarise yourself with the basic shamanic three worlds model, the four-quarter elemental model (which shows up everywhere â from the four archangels and the four evangelists in the Bible, to the Four Worlds of Qabalah, the Four Quadrants and the Transactional Analysis personality grid), the various 8-stage models of Buddhist consciousness (which are even more finely-grained upon closer inspection), Timothy Learyâs âCircuitsâ, Spiral Dynamics and Chaos. Study the ten spheres of the Qabalistic Tree of Life (this can become the work of a lifetime but itâs well worth it), the 30 Aethyrs of the Enochian system, the 64 hexagrams of the I-Ching divination system, the 78 cards of the Tarot deck etc.
Cultivate a working knowledge of the many gods, demons and angels of the worldâs religious and mythic traditions. Read up on the various forms of Mag!c practised by shamans, witches and sorcerers over the centuries and even millennia; Australian Aboriginal dreamtime ideas, Hindu cosmology, pre-Buddhist Bon Po sorcery, Gnosticism, Wicca, Enochian Angelic Mag!c, Goetia, Voudon, Crowleyâs Thelema, Spareâs Zos Kia, Satanism and the dark side Typhonian schools, the Chaos curent of Carroll, Sherwin, Hine. You must be willing to absorb and synthesize of all this contradictory information into your own personal prismatic worldview.

An Invocation of Joy
Materials Required:
- 1 sheet of white cloth, circular, 1.5 meter radius. - 4 white candles. - Green paint. (Variable) - Premade glyph
Preparation:
Find an abandoned industrial area/loft/any strange and hidden place with that special feel. Baptize it with honest sex.
The Rite:
0. At the full moon, go there. 1. Spread the pre-cut circular sheet on the floor. Put the candles (unlighted) at N, S, W & E. Put the paint on two plates just within reach. 2. Sit down, facing each other (naked). Go into ritual mode, start breathing. (We recommend 8-4-7-4 as a good rhythm). 3. Visualize glyph in coordination for about 5 minutes. (Here we recommend the shape of the upwards-turned gnostic triangle) Create a focus between you, create a glyph of being, a third point of meeting. 4. Reach out, dip fingers in paint, begin to trace a circle around you, first with the right hand, then the left. 5. As the Circle is complete, intensify Ki-force into rush, rise and intone: I AM WHAT I AM I CHOOSE WHAT I AM I AM WHAT I CHOOSE I AM WHAT I AM 6. Start laughing/fucking/dancing wildly about. Having an ocean or lake nearby is recommended, nothing is better than swimming in moonlight for purification. Smile. Forget all about it.
