Ahh! First sketches in my new notebook! ....also....new oc who dis!! Ok he's not new in just haven't shared him yet. So. This is Jude. In my universe â¨ď¸ of ocs he is of the older generations. He lives in the slums of the city and is basically a street fighter, using his changling powers to win (not sure if he should be a changling or not yet, leaning towards not) i dont have the space or mental capacity to explain what a changling is here but if you know anything about the mythical creature of a changling its kinda like that but less evil (some of them are evil though) (he is not) I also wrote a whole description of him đ so here it is (its quite long be forwarded) Emerging from the shadows of the alleyway was a tall black man, lean almost to the point of malnourishment, his skin pockmarked from years spent in dank sewers away from the sun. His hair fell in mangy dreadlocks, down to his mid back in a way that could only have been achieved naturally rather than shinely atached in the salon. His sunken hazel eyes were truly more of a green up close, flitting skittishly at any movement. Despite this, and his perpetually hunched frame, he carried himself with the confidence of someone who knew their own worth. Tied and woven into his dreads were assorted bits of twine, bits of metal, and bead, collected over the years after they fell through drain pipes or were left forgotten around corners and in trash bins.

MC witch apprentice of Reine de Saba/Aji who works at their shop. One day they meet diaboy during the carnival/parade after he was messing around at the shop.
Witches and Vampires don't get along, would this be the exception?
"It is a burden if it robs you of your innocence."
Each of them had been given a gift, a talent. His felt more like a punishment. He knew their parents thought it was the best way to make him understand what they saw on humanity. He just saw the worst parts of them highlighted thru the ages. He saw the atrocities, the hurt, the evil.
He saw all and decided he would not let it come to that, one day or another. His name changed from that, now a synonym to the biting, chilling winds that howl in the night. The dark one, that puts humanity to the test and punishes or destroys the unworthy. (He saw the good, the marvelous and exciting things that also come thru life because of humanity, it does not change the rage at how they desecrate his siblings and children works.) He saw the end, and prepares for it, making sure he has a place to sleep the centuries away, just a few days after he has come to existence.
"It is a burden if it is not integrated into life.â
Even then, gift did not come without strings, power was not without limitations. His desire to prevent the worst, he had planned to tell his brothers of the calamities to come, to help them avoid the heartbreak, the pain, the traps, shortcomings and so much that was coming for them. He had the way to stop unnecessary pain and struggle, some must still be faced but he could spare his loved ones the rest.
The primordial did not think it was wise, and so his voice was taken away. It was bad to see it happen; it was worst knowing it was coming and being unable to do something. (They were right, but knowing and feeling are very different, and it does nothing to erase the bitter feeling from his mouth).
The dark wind ponders if they are truly alive, like how humans live? Because living and being alive are different things. Is there a difference between divinity and a god? He has seen the end, or to the furthest thing he can peer into, and even when they disappeared, the sun still rises, the winds still blew, and the rain poured down. They are at the basic bases just a representation of nature.
Would that mean that they just receded into the most basic form they had, like how humans after they go to MictlĂĄn go back to being part of the cosmic dust from which they came from? Humanity went from this fine and mystical powder that is precious and end going back to it so on, like a cycle of reincarnation. Do gods pass thru it in a same manner? Has he and his siblings lived before yet are unable to recall it? His unfamiliar sight fails to show him answers and maybe itâs a sign to try and live, yetâŚ
"Is a burden if it does not bring joy."
They gave him a consolation gift; a polished onyx, shiny and reflective as a mirror, leaving a small smoking trail behind. If he looked hard enough into it, he could see whatever he wished, no matter where or when it was. He thought he could overpass the limits set by them, but the smoke is deadly. No matter what he did, the smoke only razed and withered whatever encountered it, only the divine could withstand it. No matter how he looked, how he tried, he could not communicate his ideas only vague motions.Â
Time gets⌠wonky when you know what is going to happen, has happened and will happen, but there can still be some surprises. He gets some names, persons and so mixed up, asking for beings that have not been born yet, have died or do not exist. He suspects his brothers also have a messed sense of time passing, and some even acknowledge the strange blond man that comes at times for when they are creating something new. (Later he recognizes the blond in the baby his brother presents so happily to him, the half-breed that is given everything without attachments and he canât help but resent it, even if the feathered snake is without fault.) He still tries to change things, because he is a stubborn mother fucker like his brothers are/where/will be and struggles runs thru their veins. It does not mean it makes him happy, but his victories over fate are sweet as honey.
"Is a burden if it gives you an idea that you are wise."
Sometimes he pities humanity, like how you can pity a very stupid insect that just keeps hitting the window in attempts to get out. Those mortals were out of their depth the moment they entered his domain. (They screamed, as a strange black smoke curled around their ship, dragging it down to earth, crashing it and leaving them stranded on the depths of the jungle.)
They tried to contact someone, anyone to rescue them, using technology on a place that has not seen something more advanced than the wheel in centuries. He didnât kill them at once, still half asleep, still a bit too tired; letting them live, to try to learn about the modern day. (How hard it is to learn a language you had never known, in an alphabet you havenât seen yet you have from the moment you could walk). Humans think it was all just a freaky accident, science can explain it all. They think they can survive; they think they know enough to make it thru this tragedy.
They donât know it was their search for knowledge was what sealed their fate to die by his maw and help him recover a bit of his strength.
Knowledge is a burden if it doesn't set you free. And he is tired of carrying it.

Reporter: Prisoner Koharu Moe
Born March 2, 200X (19 years old)
From a very young age, Koharu grew up with her parents alone in their flower shop. They were her only family, as she was homeschooled because her parents were afraid of the teasing they would receive from other children because she was born male and had understood early on who she was.
Life was perfect for Koharu: her father Kota and mother Asuka had no aunts, uncles, or grandparents. Both were only children, and Asuka's parents had passed away. As for Kota, he had cut ties with his toxic father. But the infamous man found them again, and instead of understanding his son's wishes, he simply ruined his life by destroying his son's reputation, sending threats, and even sending people to destroy the shop. It got to the point where one day Kota killed himself in his room. Satisfied with the news, the evil man stopped showing his presence when Koharu was 11 years old.
Koharu was devastated, but she wasn't going to let it stay in her room. She trained... for revenge. He had taken the life of the man who had loved and cherished her; she was going to take his. Koharu managed to convince Asuka to take martial arts classes at a club and go to the gym. Although the young girl continued her lessons at home for her mother, Koharu was doing this to rebuild herself after Kota's death. For Koharu, it was simply to find the strength to find the man whose face she had never seen.
It took years for her to finally become a priest and find his address by rummaging through old letters left in a corner of the attic. She found it; he was at the edge of a neighboring town.
One evening, Koharu told Asuka she was going to sleep at a friend's house from the club, unaware of the "mini" botanist's true intentions. Infiltrating the man's home, she found him asleep in his room and smothered him with a pillow, taking the man's life. "Satisfied," Koharu said, "I went to my friend's house to establish an alibi. I came up with the excuse of a subway breakdown for being 'late.'"
But a few days later, she heard that a guy from the gym was devastated by his grandfather's death and was showing a picture of him with his grandfather. Koharu easily recognizedâŚit was the man she had killedâŚshe had killed an innocent man, not the one responsible for her father's death; her revenge had failed.
Fact : Koharu regret very mush for her murder but if she can she still want to kill her grandpa
- in modern au she found Hanae and Jacinthe before she found the adress and their gf prevent to not make that and she obey (cause she understand that vengeance is not the best thing)
Anyways Koharu parent desing and the victim desing

The concept of dying was not something he liked to think about, even if it had graced his long life with its presence. The snake mused that very few beings liked to think about such morbid topics even if death was a part of their daily existence.
How does a God die? Apparently with a soft âOhâ of realization, more of a whisper than articulation, at being shot by his own hands. An unlucky accident during the wee hours of the morning while he did maintenance and cleaning of his collection of guns. The fact that he was going to die settled inside him, just above the place, now occupied by a massive hole in his gut. Mix could feel life itself slowly leaking out of him alongside vibrant blood that was staining the leather of the chair and floor of his studio.
How does divinity end? It was more of a philosophical question, a reason for heated debates at universities, but it seemed that in this case, the answer resided in the divine forgetting it was divine in the first place. Maybe death could finally wrap its jaws around him because he had forsaken his own divine nature, living with morals like one of their own.
Whatever the reason was, it appeared even he could shuffle his not-so-mortal coil. An unlucky accident was the end of something that had defied and spit at fate's face. It was almost poetic, reminding him of a story he once heard, of the monster only needing one night of bad luck to snatch its prey away.
Apparently, fate only needed the same thing to snatch him away. There was no way he could get help in time. His studio was too far from the rest of the household and the wound was in such a delicate area of sizeâŚ. He knew that the next minutes were truly the last.
Tiredness crept over him, the snake slumping on the chair as he covered his wound on instinct; all limbs feeling like being of lead and cement. He had no energy to wonder why the wound wouldn't close; Stubbornness was a trait not even age had managed to control or eliminate, Mixcoatl wanted to live, and Claude wanted to see his husband preparing a last cup of coffee while being only half awake, and the father in the last moments of consciousness wanted to say goodbye.
Against his will, his eyelids started to close as a cold numbness spread through him, the smoking gun falling to the floor with a deafening sound to his ears. An accident, just an unlucky moment, causing what others had tried endlessly for eras. A mundane accident. It felt fitting in a way.
Mixcoatl, Claude, the father finally lost the battle and closed his eyes; a stray thought sneaking in before the curtain fell. âA shame to break a promiseâŚâ With that, the Cloud Snake came to an end, not with a bang in the middle of a grand battle but a small-

Tanstra rolled out of bed. Cursing herself for waking up late yet again.
âIllori?â She called out. Surprised that she didnât immediately spot Illori in the small flat. Throwing on a simple dress before heading outside in search of her. As expected Goldenmist Village was bustling. Judging by the sundial located in the middle of the townâs small market it was coming up on noon. The town itself was small with all the homes located around one simple square that housed the market and inn. The majority of craftsmen in the village simply ran their business from their homes; while the market was more so devoted to produce and other foodstuff. Quickly brushing through the crowd as she spotted Illori buying fish from a young boy before turning and waving at her. As Tanstra approached the boy scurried off.
âGlad to see youâre awake hun.â Illori teased.
âI know, Iâm sorry. I promised Iâd help you with your work today.â Tanstra replied.
âItâs fine. I got Harodan up and out of bed to his post and didnât want to wake you too. Honestly I had a nice morning.â
âOh a nice peaceful morning because I wasnât there?â Tanstra laughed as the pair were returning home.
âWell I didnât have to suffer through your attempts at cooking at least.â Illori continued to tease as she headed into the kitchen. âI got us some fresh albacore for lunch. The boy caught a good one by the channel.â
âSurprised my Fatherâs guardâs didnât stop him from fishing so close to the skiffs then.â
âNot only was he not stopped, he also saw someone interesting coming and going from the estate.â
âAnother one of the Azurefold families âdistinguishedâ guests? Iâm extra surprised they didnât make sure the rabble werenât anywhere to be seen.â Tanstra let out a snort.
âOh no. It was not a distinguished guest. The boy told me he saw your brother.â
âStrange. I thought he was posted at the Farstrider Enclave.â Tanstra flatly replied.
âStrange indeed. Perhaps he was afforded a moment to return home, but perhaps your Father is up to something again.â
âWhatever it is Iâm staying out of it.â
âOh come on! Even if youâre not truly interested in your family anymore you have to admit the gossip this will cause is interesting at least.â
âHardly. Itâs only gossip, and besides Father will make sure the narrative is that his son was able to return home and thatâs it.â
âFair enough.â Illori relented. Not wanting to ruffle anymore of Tanstraâs feathers. As she took the boiling teapot off the fire.
âWhat of Harodan? Is he returning late again tonight?â
âAfraid so. Seems that heâll be out patrolling further up the cost to ward off those nasty murlocs that have been moving in.â Illori placed the warm cup of blood thistle tea and freshly cooked fish.
âHeâs been sent out for longer and longer patrols recently though.â
âWell we both know the reason for that.â Illori commented bitterly.
âIâm sorry Illori.â Tanstra meekly replied.
âNo reason to be sorry. You arenât responsible for your fatherâs actions.â
Cupping her teacup Tanstraâs mind wandered off to her mother and sisters for a moment. Often she fought with herself on whether or not she made the correct choice. She loved Harodan, but sometimes the guilt of leaving her loved ones behind for him ate at her. âNo. It was Father that pushed me out.â Now Illori was spending less time with her own family because of her.
Illori having finished her own plate and cup of tea set her dishes in the washtub.
âLet me handle washing up Illori.â Tanstra said. Illori had been so gracious in allowing her to move into her home. All because Harodan had spoken so highly of her. She considered what it must be like to have such a warm and loving parent. Not that her own mother was a bad or evil person. After teaching her the basics of healing her mother became distant once again though. She knew in her heart that she was loved, but she remembers a mother that was always too busy entertaining guests and running their household. The majority of her rearing was done by her fatherâs apprentice that eventually became their full time employee after her skills in the arcane were deemed to be âsuparâ.
âDonât worry too much dear. I mean it. You and Harodan will still get a bit of time before he heads to bed at least. On a better note, my fever is almost gone. Thanks to the draught you made.â Illori said. Snapping Tanstra back to reality. âDonât worry about the dishes. Iâll get that done. You should head around the town to see if anyone else is in need of your talents.â
âIâm happy itâs worked well.â Tanstra smiled. âYouâre right. I should head to the barracks to see if any men have been hurt fighting off those murlocs.â Gobbling down her fish before gathering up her elixirs and saying goodbye to Illori. Deciding that she should first head to the barracks and then the inn to sell her wares she headed off the edge of the village. Going south following along the beach. It seemed undisturbed. A good sign. The murlocs must not have pushed past the guards posted north. She took a moment to stare across the channel at the estate. Noticing a small figure in the distance. It seemed it was Cearea collecting shells. âStrange. I wonder if Father isnât home. Normally sheâd be relegated to her studies all day. Perhaps thatâs why Soâthas visited. Maybe I should go see them too.â She considered it for a moment, but knew that the guards posted by the skiffs likely wouldnât let her cross. It certainly wasnât worth swimming across. âSinatra would rat me out immediately.â
Continuing along the beach until she reached the barracks. Thankfully there was only a few guards with wounds to tend to. 'As selfish as it is these murlocs are the thing keeping me in business.' The wounds were merely a couple of scratches from the claws of the ugly beasts. She was also able to sell a few potions for their future skirmishes, but only enough to make a few silver. Looking around at the guards milling about she felt thankful that the only threat close to the village was murlocs. If they'd been posted at the other end of the main road the main threat would be trolls. 'Not a single one of these boys could handle the even the Shadowpine. Let alone a full Amani force.'
"Do any of you know when Halodan will be coming back from his patrol?" She asked.
"Not sure. He's been our main line of defense against the beasts. Captain says Magister Azurefold has been so impressed he's increased him in the field by... well... a ton." One of the boys answered. She knew she'd been told his name once before, but simply couldn't recall it.
'If he'd really been impressed he'd be captain...' ďťż She sighed. Some part of her knew that he truly was impressed. That she was the only road block standing between Harodan and an easy promotion. The current Captain was once a great warrior. Once. But it was clear his time had passed.
"Well, hope you feel better boys." She gave a wave to the two men with the scratches and with that she left. Sighing as she began the walk back to the village. While walking back she noticed that the figure near the estate was gone now. The sun was hanging lower in the sky now, but she knew the day was not done yet.
As she entered the inn, the innkeeper Zemar gave her a friendly hello as usual. Tanstra noticed something much more interesting though. The traveler ordering a drink. Goldenmist got the occasional traveler, but none were ever dressed in fine silks. She gave a friendly reply to Zemar before sitting down at the bar. Curiously eyeing the traveler.
âWell, youâre in luck sir. This lady here happens to be one of the Azurefolds.â Zemar said to the man. The traveler looked at her with doubt. Tanstra tried not to be offended as she understood his doubt. She didnât look like a noble anymore, not even one from a lower family. The man however must not have been from any important house either though if he was spending any time in a common inn in some out of the way village. âNot to mention he must not have much fashion sense with that ridiculously large hat.â
âAh I see.â The man spoke. Clearly still doubting the innkeepers' claim.
âNot that it matters anyway. If youâre looking to speak to anyone important in the family youâre in the wrong place.â Tanstra flatly replied.
âOh no no. I was simply curious about the family ruling over this fine spot of land. Thatâs all.â The innkeeper handed the man his drink as he spoke.
âIs that all? I figure someone like you must have some important reason to visit this out of the way village.â She turned to the man. Studying him.
âYou shouldnât assume dear. After all with a beach this fine anyone would come out of their way to enjoy it.â The man took down his drink in one big gulp.
âIn winter?â She almost let out a laugh.
âI hope you enjoy your stay then. Iâm positive Zemar will happily set up a bed for you.â The innkeeperâs eyes lit up. She didnât blame him. It was obvious the man would be a big spender.
âUnfortunately, I canât stay longer. Iâve still got traveling to do.â The man shrugged before standing up and preparing to head out.
âAl diel shala.â Zemar called after him as he left the building.
âDid he mention anything about where heâs headed?â She asked.
âAh yes, he said he was heading up to the grove across the river.â Zemar nervously turned his attention to her. He couldnât help but feel heâd messed something up.
âStrange as thereâs no bridge going across said river near here. Did you catch his name?â
âI apologize, but I did not.â Zemar answered reluctantly.
âItâs fine. Iâm sure it was nothing.â Not even she believed herself. Houses were always plotting against each other. Always being sneaky. Something was always happening. She wasnât sure if the stranger was stupid though. He could have easily worn a better disguise when showing up to the front door if he didnât want to be noticed. âMaybe he didnât really have any goal. Maybe he was just passing through.â She wanted to convince herself. Thinking back on the man she realized she couldnât for the life of her remember his face. âZemar, could you describe the man?â
âWell, he had that massive purple hat.â
âNo his face Zemar.â She insisted.
âI- I canât remember. Thought I had gotten a good long look at him...â Zemar raised his hand to his lips and he tried to remember. His brow furrowed.
âAn illusion?â She couldnât even give a rough estimate of the manâs height or build. Tanstra thought for a moment. Thinking if she should inform father of this. âNo. I canât just become his pawn again. His problems are not mine anymore.â
âTell me if you see him again will you?â She stood up and prepared to leave. âKeep your wits about you, Zemar.â Parting the fine silk curtain that acted as the entrance she walked out to a light rain. The chill proves that even in the idyllic land of Quelâthalas winter still exists. Even if itâs simply a few cold spouts of rain and even colder nights. She couldnât imagine actually taking a dip in the ocean no matter how majestic the beach was. The manâs excuse was certainly blizarre at the least.
âWhy not send an underling? Why would he be so obvious? Is he so far above us he doesnât even feel the need for shame? Maybe he was just plain stupid and never thought one of the family would even hear of it. Let alone walk in on him attempting to get dirt; and what a cliche going to the innkeeper. Zemar doesnât know a damn thing.â She started to laugh. âThe only one who knows anything in this town is Illori. Maybe she just missed a night full of gossip from the only person in the whole village who would have been willing to entertain her.â But as she laughed to herself the unease settled deeper into her gut. Looking out at the approaching clouds she couldnât help but feel that something worse than that storm was coming.
