The town of Cokeworth is quiet and peaceful place with honest, friendly and hardworking people. Or that’s what they want you to think. Live your life, don’t ask too many questions and do not talk to outsiders. 

Fuck all that bullshit! Sirius spits on the ground when he walks past the brick houses and lights a smoke. This town had brought Evans to his life. Evans and Snivellus. He stops in front of a building which seems identical with all the other houses next to it. He takes a deep breath from his cigarette. 

When Sirius had went to get his afternoon drink, Aberforth had told him that some dark haired beanpole had been eavesdropping and Abe had to kick him out. After couple of beers (drank by Aberforth, not Padfoot) Sirius had figured out that the beanpole carried the name of Severus Snape and the conversation that he had heard was about the prophecy, which would be dangerous in the wrong hands.

“Like the hands of the Dark Lord” Sirius thinks. He puts out his cigarette while pulling out his wand, walks to the door and...

“You wanted to see me, sir?”

Corvus Lestrange paused in the doorway of the potion teacher’s office, waiting for confirmation to come in. The sixth year Slytherin couldn’t help but be curious as to why he’d been summoned, but he suspected he would find out soon enough. He’d come as soon as he could, having a free period now between classes.

Corvus was glad to be back at school though, even if the workload had ramped up even more after OWLs. At the moment, any place was better than home. The summer after fourth year had been stressful enough in their house, after what had happened with Potter in the third task, but the past summer had been even worse now that a few extra members of their family were frequently there, following their little...breakout.

- An oddly pillow-like stuffed bat.

- A very small stuffed bat with galaxy print wings. It could easily fit into a pocket and has no business being that small.
