Manifestation and Non-Dual Awareness
I have seen a lot of "manifestation" techniques in the non-duality hashtag, but I am a severely confused by all of that. Where in such reputable non-dual awareness teachings, such as in Indian Advaita Vedanta, which I did a tiny bit of research into, so I am not an expert at it, but where does it state that it is all about manifestation of your desires, or that manifestation of desires is a part of non-dual awareness? I thought non-dual awareness, especially Advaita Vedanta, while does not condemn the desires, is about eventually detaching from your own desires into a state of fullness and wholeness, as it states the world is an illusion, which to me, it is, non-dual awareness is about abiding in That Which Is, to me.
It is pretty counter productive to me, to try to manifest in such a state, as manifestation means there is a lack in you... in non-dual awareness, you lack nothing, it is complete fullness. In Reality, nothing is needed to be manifested, everything is inside of you, therefore, why do you need to look to outside for something that is inherently internal? You just Be. Wanting to control outcomes by a preconceived notion of what you want your Reality to be like and how you feel your Reality should be like, is not abiding in non-dual awareness. It is separating you from non-dual awareness, as manifestation then automatically sets up a you vs the world you live in, situation, when all is actually one. There is no separation. It is not about the need to manifest, it is instead about, not needing to manifest. Which is totally different, the complete opposite, but can easily be misconstrued.
I read somewhere on the internet, and I FULLY agree with this, that in non-dual awareness, you recognise everything is one, whereas, manifestation is inherently dualistic, "I don't have this, so I will try to get it as I need it". It creates a separation between you and the thing you want to get. Non-dual awareness does not mean you can manifest anything you want or need in that non-dual awareness, it means you don't need to manifest, as you are already full and whole, it is all desires fulfilled, not because you have the ability to get whatever you want and do get whatever you want, but more so like.. you don't need wants and needs any longer, you are full, so you have them all, in a certain sense. Manifestation using non-dual awareness, is, to me, counterproductive, not needed, and a misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the reputable teachings of such understandings. Non-dual awareness is wholeness, fullness, completeness, it is about abiding in Being, Being full and whole so much, that all desires are fulfilled, it is not trying to attain those desires, it is the desires already fulfilled without the need to search for them or try to attain them. It is not trying to gain other perceived things from Being, which inherently will separate, not unify. Not trying to debate or argue, and I do not know all about Advaita Vedanta as a teaching, I do have my own Gnosis and Realisations, though, but I am genuinely baffled, I did not expect this at all.
Just my opinion. I have actually never encountered people trying to manifest using non-dual awareness before. I have my own thoughts on manifestation which I will not share here as it isn't the most highly thought of opinion, and I do not do manifestation myself, as I am someone who tries to flow with life, instead of trying to push against the current of life. I would say I am more passive, instead of active, in that sense.
