what are the toons’s favorite cartoons (from the original looney tunes cartoons that they participated in from the 30s up until its’ decline)
Okay, so I was going to wait until I'd watched all the classic LT's I've got on DVD, but seeing as that will take 44 hours [44 hours!] I'm going with that I've watched so far, so needless to say, some won't be on it.
Bugs - he's really likes his cartoon, 'Baseball Bugs'. Especially the ending, because once the camera irised out, the baseball player kept yelling at him [as a multi-character toon, he had issues knowing when to stop.] and because Bugs was a young smart-alec toon back then, he kept winding the guy up until Freleng stepped in and broke them up. ["Alright, alright, that's enough of that. BUGS BUNNY if you don't stop talking RIGHT NOW-!"]
Daffy - much to most people's surprise, it's 'Duck Amuck'. This cartoon did require A LOT of effort on Daffy's behalf, but he pushed Toon Physics to, not quite there limits, but as close to it as he could get. He had a lot of fun filming it [ironically, as he spent a lot of the cartoon shouting.] and he particularly loved the twist at the end.
Elmer - He's got a couple, but he particuarly likes 'Yankee Dood It', the one where he's the head of the elves. Not only is it one of the cartoon where he's not shooting something, but it's more of a 'role'. He also finds it fun to work with Sylvester.
Porky - He has two. 'Porky in Wackyland' [which was a nightmare to film, because Wacklyland is an actual place that makes no sense, but the overall effect was great, so he ended up happy with it.] and 'The wearing of the Grin.' [The one with O'Pat and O'Mike.] It was quite fast-paced to film, but that's what made it so fun!
Sylvester - 'Back Alley Oproar.' His was actually a re-make of 'Notes To You' and he loved it so much he begged Freleng to let him be in it. Freleng said okay, as long as Sylvester could talk another toon into it. Porky had been in the original, so Sylvester went for Elmer because it was well-known he was an opera fan. The rest, as they say, was history.
O'Mike, are you O'kidding?
