I very fondly look back on Nuve getting locked in a random storage closet with stammer-y Y’aro - it was a really nice way to get immediately acquainted with her mannerisms and speech (at least, that she was willing to let on)!

Batch 3 is up! Against all odds, this one was quite the challenging angles and challenging hairstyles batch, the combed back looks are my arch nemesis :’D

Thank you everyone for sending references for me to practice with! I’ve currently got more than 30 of them so I won’t be able to accept any more for the time being.

16. Have you ever contemplated killing someone? Who and why? Would you ever act on it? Are you frightened you might?

At the question, Y’aromirr slowly folded his arms over his chest and tilted his head in such a way as to lead with his eye as opposed to his hair, brow furrowed...

“M-more than contemplated, yes... And t-to be frank I..” No. After shutting his mouth rather forcibly, he tried again from the top.

“... I h-have caused more harm in this life than m-my humble flower beds would let you know. I.. have been the blade to down more than I would have wished. And yet... I am plagued by a face i-in my life of peace wh-which I know I would so r-readily see gaunt in death under my hands. Wh-who I have contemplated summers over. A man I... I need to kill.”

The seeker snuck his hand underneath his hair from the jawline, the motion obscured but... seeming to be wiping his eyelashes, probably.

“... I am often quite frightened th-that I will do so...”

Had the pleasure of bumping into @nuveyyy, quickly followed by @sordid-suncat & @goldplatedfool! What a powerful group~

“Nuve...” He pronounced her name slowly and with a chip-toothed grin, seeming oddly proud to get it right. “You have warm heart... It obvious in your face, and though our interactions have b-been... well, less than glamorous and few... I-I find myself pining for further warmth from the fire in those eyes of yours. It’s enviable... A woman who not only walks to her own drum, but has the confidence to march to the click of her heel alone. H-heh...”

As his words began to trail into a nearly inaudible bubbling string of praises he thinks more than says for fear of embarrassing her, Y’aromirr’s eye catches for a moment at the Moon Keeper’s injury... then to a peaceful shut. 

“I struggle to say with certainty, b-but... I think there are many lessons both of us have learned in our own perspective. S-someday... I would like to have the confidence to tell you mine.”

((Of course it’s fine! Gotta start somewhere, yeah? <3))

Thunk. 

“That wasn’t… the door was it?” Turning over his shoulder towards the heavy oak door, Y’aromirr immediately dropped his ears upon seeing it very much closed. “I’m.. s-so sorry, I really th-thought I propped it better.”

As his gaze turned back to examine the room he and his company were now effectively trapped within, he let out a held breath of tension. Small… but well lit at least. A few barrels to sit on… Things could be worse for being stuck in the company of a stranger for an indeterminate amount of time. And the company herself… A fellow Miqo’te. That’s somewhere to start..! 

“Hahhh.. w-well… Seem’s the spinner’s fate has certainly… spun?” Alright, bad start. The seeker’s tail slumped as he found himself pretty much completely at a loss for what to do other than apologize. “I’m.. certain someone will notice us gone. In the mean time… Well, I’m Y’aro. Yourself?”
