Ok, this discussion wasn't devious per se. I was just trying to make the title of this post "sexy."
We've heard the controversy about "Devious Maids" by now, so I gathered some colleagues in media who had expressed strong opinions about it on Twitter to discuss in the (Google Hangout) flesh: is "Devious Maids" really offensive to Latinos? Do we care? And most importantly, is the show any good? Watch what happens when people stop being polite...and start getting devious.
Thanks to our panelists:
Cristina Costantini
Monika Fabian
Lee Hernandez

Fast and Furious 6: Michelle Rodriguez's Letty Was Never Dead
Michelle Rodriguez, toned inside and out.
By NURIA NET
Spoiler alert! Tough woman Michelle Rodriguez's character Letty is back in fully-toned glory in the new Fast and Furious movie. ( The sixth one to be exact. ) And Rodriguez is all about her insides.
"The outside is genetic. I can literally live like a bum and I'll still have my toned [self]," she said. "I don't know, maybe it's the 23 percent Black I have in me or something."
How do I know all of this? I had the chance to participate in my first-ever Google Hangout press junket in which, instead of flying journalists over to London where the Fast and Furious 6 cast was doing interviews, a bunch of us called in to chat with Rodriguez.
Watch the "hangout" below and, of course, Fast and Furious 6 is in theaters this weekend.
My sister Jessica and I dancing like no one was watching. BOW DOWN.
By MATT KEPPEL
One afternoon bored at home my sister and I dressed up in her tutus. She was 4 and I was 1 and half years old and our older brother Stephen came home just in time to laugh at us... this moment ended in me chasing him around the house spitting on him (it's caught on camera.) I also scratched his eye, which to this day I want to believe almost made him blind.

Even if you have no clue who the Latin pop idol Ricardo Arjona is until this post, you've GOT to be intrigued by a singer-songwriter who comes up with songs such as these (and turned them into huge hits):
"Jesus Is a Verb, not a Noun"
a song about the menstrual cycle
uses metaphor "penguins in our bed" to illustrate marital discord
and so much more. Read all about the Arjona phenomenon and all the ire and adoration he elicits, here.
And please, sound off in the comments. What is your most loved/despised Arjona song or lyrics?

We've seen this blackout before back in... [insert your country of choice here.]
While we were waiting for the lights to go back on (thanks Beyoncé!) Puerto Ricans on Twitter and Facebook did what we do best...start singing And what did we all start dancing to? That Christmas song that goes "Yo tenía una luz, que a mi me alumbraba, yo tenía una luz, que a mi me alumbraba...y venía la brisa y FUA! Y me la apagaba!"
