📍E. Rodriguez Ave, Antipolo, Rizal // Cafe Musta - Tanay, Rizal
First ever long?? ride with Mikey and his new Navi. Suffice to say, it was a very patience-soliciting kind of ride. We were doing 30 on the highways because of how careful he still was about it (which is understandable). I was his back ride by then to guide him, and in case we come across a checkpoint. Mary was the one driving my mc.
We took a break on the zigzag and enjoyed the view. Mikey was not used to having a passenger yet so I went back to my motorcycle with Mary as my back ride. I always place myself behind Mikey so I can support him and hide him between me & Miah (who was driving ahead of us). During the whole ride, I can't help but reminisce how my ex also used to do the same call outs & precautions I was then sharing to Mikey (back when I was the one still new to driving).
We looked for a cafe that was still open and not dangerously far away. That was when we found Cafe Musta. We weren't able to stay long because the cafe was actually about to close (despite a different closing time posted on maps). We saw the owner ask his employees to stay a little longer to cater to us, and that made us feel bad so we chose not to overstay.
Once we escorted Mikey home, the rest of us felt like we were racing because of the difference in the speed we were allowed now. We felt so weightless and were about to fly (still on the speed limit of course 😉)
