as much as i want to be made out of money or do not have the need to eat, sleep, breathe, poop, etc-- we’re just humans. before anyone noticed, i already knew i haven’t been uploading much in tumblr anymore. i upload more doodles and shit on my twitter, but in general i’ve been swamped with work, zines, patreon and other side projects. i really don’t know how people think when they get free art for viewing and then complain either the artists changed fandoms or they don’t upload anymore... ngl it made me feel guilty WAY before you even thought of it or made up your mind to unfollow. the thing is, i don’t update about my life almost at all. i try not to complain or vent either. everyone else have problems in their own lives, why would they wanna hear more sad/disappointing news? when i did that on twitter, it’s the easiest to lose followers...so i ended up not saying much anymore. i’m tired, everyone’s tired--don’t add more stress on us please. having limited free time is bleaugh coz i can’t even play games anymore. i constantly almost pick drawing anyway. then i feel guilty not drawing anything new. wow. idk. i guess i just hoped not to be pointed out about this....
tbh, i didn’t even wanna do a patreon because i don’t want to take money from people. i look down on my own art since i started drawing. i don’t think my art deserves any of people’s hard earned money, but no, there are people that want to support me and i am beyond thankful.
i will always be thankful for those that have stuck with me for the longest time or even just in general. supporting me on patreon, buying my merch, commenting, messaging me, using their own limited time to talk to me. even if you’re a stranger, i will always be really thankful even when i get awkward. sometimes i just feel inadequate and overwhelmed with so many compliments i get. to the point i feel like saying thank you gets old and fake sounding.
