June 9, 2023 - Badehaus (Berlin)
V found this UK-based singer-songwriter and proposed that we go to this show to enjoy some nice poppy sounds. I gave Now Ex a couple of listens before the show and liked the music, so we went. It was a nice Friday evening, and I met with V beforehand to have some radler and bitch about life and a sad state of misogyny in tech. This year was really a struggle for every womxn I know.
Anyway, the show was starting. Badehaus was getting nicely full, but with ample space to move around. It was a bit cold from the AC in some places, so we moved around a bit. I don’t remember the song names much, but Nick’s voice was really blending nicely with the electro-pop sounds. The last song, Still Dressed For Winter, was really great with a nice buildup and catchy chorus. Loved that one!
As we exited the venue after the show ended, Nick was at the door, so we said hi and complimented him on a great show.

So I'm banned from the mental health conference (here). Not because of the concerns I raised over respecting our privacy, but because of remarks I made about another attendee. I asked "for the love of God" not to put me in a group with "that misogynistic fuckboi" my ex-roommate. I forgot I actually submitted that on my registration form. Literally feel like absolute shit right now broke up with my year and a bit girlfriend a week and a day ago as I wasn't happy all we did was argue and all I experienced was getting moaned at on basically a day to day to basis, obviously breaking up with her when I'm not happy I would assume would make me feel even slightly better about myself but now all I feel is numb or empty I'm not even sure I just so horrible I feel like a shell of what I was. All I want in life is to feel fulfilled, I want to be happy, I want to live life, I wanted that relationship to be part of that but after like 20 chances for her to change i don't feel it was fair on myself to carry on trying like it was wasting both our times, I now don't feel like she even cared and it just pushes me further down, I don't want to go back into depression so I really hope this passes soon. I just want to be happy Sorry for the rant.
