“What’s up, jackass?”

Bruce glanced up at from his cup of coffee and his book, caught off guard by the person moving in the corner of his eye. They didn’t have many visitors in this part of the Compound, especially in the residential section. “Can I help you?” He called up from the couch, blinking over at the man.

“I’m really sorry, I didn’t know where else to go,” Hardison said, clutching at Loki’s elbows and pushing his way in uninvited. Actual god or not, Hardison had found him after some effort, and in less dire circumstances he would hope Loki was at least a little impressed. Right now though, he was focused on other things. “We had to split up. We’re on the run. I don’t know many people who aren’t....connected to the, uh, situation we’re running from.” He knew he didn’t have to explain who ‘we’ were, they were a set, they came together -- that was why splitting up was so weird. He scrubbed his hands over his face and turned to look at Loki, still in the foyer. “Hey, how’s your filly doing?”

“Surely, you’ve heard of her,” gasped Aziraphale. “God? Creator of the entire world; the entire universe, as a matter of fact! It’s said that she created the universe in three days, more or less.-- Not only that, but she’s the creator of The Ineffable Plan and thus my boss... Or, erm, well, my boss’s boss. Surely, some of this rings a bell?”

“Excuse me!” she called out “where the shit am i?!”

I don’t think there’s one objective answer to that.  Personally, I dislike it not so much when my ship partner has a large number of ships, but when I feel like there’s nothing unique or special about their ship with my muse.  I try to show the same respect to my ship partners or potential ship partners.  But if that means that a person is capable of having 100 ships that are all somehow unique and everyone involved is happy, then there’s no reason to judge or complain about them having ‘too many’ ships.
