The Favorite Character
I am in no way shape or form taking credit for this idea. However I cannot find the original poster for this story idea! As I saw this while scrolling through the dreaded website known as Facebook. I came across a photo on said website only to think of four separate options that could happen if this were to happen although I could be entirely wrong and there are probably hundreds of more options if I'm being honest with you.
The idea: Your doorbells rings and its a person from an alternate universe? your favorite character from a book perhaps? Stating only this "I just want you to know that you are my favorite book character and I know how it ends and I wanna change it."
These are the 4 options that instantly came to my mind seconds after I read it....
Option 1: they bring you to their universe which only causes a giant mess to which the main character refuses to fix as it is “not their problem as they were just randomly pulled out of their home.”
Option 2:they keep you within your universe but hide you away so the plot changes as you go missing.
Option 3: you shut the door on their face because you can't believe this is actually real and they have to spend the first part of the book trying to convince you they are real, just so that they can help you and that you too are a part of a book.
Option 4: you pull the character into your home. Freak out. But refuse to go with them because it wouldn't be right to the story!
