What kinda weird girl do you wanna be?
mmhm i dunno
im like
girl but also a lil bit. not
i dontk now waht tho
I reached the transition goals I had as a younger teen (skinny transmasc with androgynous haircut who looks like he's dying)
Only to realize I would rather be a toned dude with long hair who looks like he knows how to cook
(also I only got to my "ideal" transition by being extremely unhealthy and hitting some of the worst points of my adult life so)
But for real I look in the mirror and think "wow. I'm exactly what I wanted when I was younger and now I don't recognize myself"
Like it is so painfully clear to me that I am unwell, and I don't like it
I'm doing better, I am getting better, but the circles under my eyes have formed little wrinkles I am fully aware will not go away when I'm better
I'm not upset about that, it's just kinda sad to me that it took getting this far to realize what I thought I wanted to look like wasn't what I wanted
I think I thought "I want to be a twink who looks like he's dying" because that's all I could ever see me becoming, not because I actually wanted it
That and there's a weird push for transmasc to fit certain molds and I didn't see myself in any of the other molds other than this one so I settled
:)

Nonbinaryn't Pride Flag
Nonbinaryn't: an umbrella describing folks that are not nonbinary.
Not essentially the same as being binary (aptobinary), as there are anonbinary people (those who are not nonbinary nor binary). It can be used in nequent and/or conformant ways.

New Year Thoughts
I don’t know that anybody is particularly enthused about the New Year. Big picture: times are tough. And they’re not looking that much up.
I just want to say that whatever you’re feeling is valid.
If you’re depressed or anxious, that’s valid.
If you’re optimistic about what’s to come, that’s valid.
If you had personal successes and good things that happened within this past year that you want to celebrate, that’s valid.
If you have good things coming this year that you’re excited about, that’s valid.
If you’re not sure how you feel, that’s valid.
If you just wanna put your head down and try to make it through, that’s valid.
If you feel some mix of any of these things, that’s valid.
A New Year is a fairly random marking of a passing of time. Nothing more, nothing less. The year is not defined off of one day only. It’s defined based off of a year of choices, 365 days of decisions - yours and others’.
Whatever you’re feeling this New Year, I have only good thoughts and good wishes for all of you.
