That was such a fun set to make, thank you!! Honestly, it leans very heavily on the linked inspiration set, here, and the creator, @mercymaker actually made a tutorial for it that I would recommend checking out! It's a really great tutorial, and details how exactly to find the right scenes for that kind of effect.
I'm glad you're getting into gifmaking! We always need more gifmakers :) You're right that it gets a bit quicker once you've been doing it for a while, but even now, there are some sets that take me a long time. In particular, multi-clip edits with finicky blending and masking, like that one, can be time-consuming, but it's almost always worth the effort.
If after reading that tutorial, you still want to see a breakdown of the layers on my set, I'm happy to post them. Just let me know. (I have the psds for my 'version 2' of that set, but I'm not sure I still have the ones for the original set). And I'm always happy to share more details/tutorials for any other sets if that's ever desired.
