First day of workshop wasn't easy for the turn up, as dancers were a bit late and we got to know that they had miscommunication on what time to start. The class was really so good with our teachers from USA that's @time2swing. As they had to wait for us and we had fund doing the choreography of #FrankieManning first stop with #NormaMiller, as we are celebrating her birthday and also her legacy the queen of swing. We shall start sharing some videos online soon but for now just enjoy the pictures, from this Northern Uganda tour for introduction of #lindyhop and #swingdance. If you are out there interested in sharing your knowledge of Swing Dance history and it's values, just don't hesitate to DM us so that you can have time to share it with dancers in Northern Uganda. Also we are still looking for more support as we still have another district to reach out too. We have got a lot of different communities, and countries inviting us to introduce Lindyhop and Swing Dance to them but we lack that support for us to go to them. Let's get together and support each other for the growth of swing dance and Lindyhop in Africa too now. As today, we start our workshops with dancers of Gulu. Discovered at the age of twelve by the #SavoyBallroom's legendary dancer Twist Mouth George, Ms. Miller has been in show business ever since. Honored with a 2003 National Heritage Foundation Fellowship from the National Endowments of the Arts for her role in creating and continuing to preserve "the acrobatic style swing dance, known as the #LindyHop," Ms. Miller ... continues to be an inspiration to all who know her. Ms. Miller's energy continues to amaze.  She recently published her third book, "Swing Baby Swing", and is currently working on her fourth book, "Me & John Biffar" along with writing several songs, including "The Big Apple", her valentine to her hometown of New York, which she composed and wrote with Frank Owens.
