Yesterday I stumbled across a post that legitimately said “Why work hard and work out when you can have a quick fix!?” with the promotion of a product that “guarantees” quick results. Now I am not bashing people or companies that sell wraps, pills, juice cleanses, etc. because I KNOW people roll their eyes 🙄 at me when I talk about my daily smoothie. BUT I am here to tell you that if you are looking for a QUICK fix, you best expect the weight to also come back on QUICK. I have been on my health journey for over two years now. I have had stumbles, slip ups, and set backs, but NOT ONCE have I even closely returned to my starting point. I have learned how to exercise properly, fuel my body with the right foods, not restrict to lose weight, change my mindset, and grow from the inside out. A healthy lifestyle is hard, there is no doubt about that, but putting in the hard work now, will result in easier maintenance later. Putting in no work for a quick fix, in contrast, results in a long hard road ahead. So choose your hard and remember that changes won’t last a lifetime unless you are willing to put in the effort. Speaking of effort, day 53/80 is complete. - - - - #chooseyourhard #noquickfixes #quickfixes #healthmindhealthybody #effortisattractive #permanentchange
