Thirty minute drawing exercise, acrylic, gouache, graphite and ink on packing paper. Having a time limit to complete the drawing within is different from how i like to work. With no time constraints things are allowed to develop over multiple sittings, knowing that i have to finish the piece within 30 minutes i tend to be more aware of what i want to try within the time available. The projects become less precious and more experimental. I found the work stacks up more quickly and im more excited to get back to the next sesh.
