So you know how you come up with funny comebacks like five minutes after something happens. Well this idiot did that today.

Okay let’s set the scene. I’m at work (I’m a receptionist) and one of my coworkers comes up to me and we start chitchatting.

An ambulance pulls up in front of the building and we think nothing of it because that happens all the time. I work at a retirement home.

A very good looking EMT comes strolling in and approaches us. He says some stuff about letting us know that they are always nearby in case we need anything and some other protocol stuff. He asks for our names then leaves.

Now my coworker says “You should get that guys number.”

And I reply “yah no.”

And she says “oh right your a minor”

Meanwhile I am sitting there literally watching all the lesbian Tik Toks I can find. My brain apparently stops functions because I don’t correct her. Which is stupid cause I am out, I am just really bad at telling people that I am really gay.

So then my coworker walks away and what not. The second she walks away I think of what I really should have said, “and he’s a dude.” (Go read the convo, it makes more sense that way)
