On the last few steps climbing out of #GrandviewTrail this weekend, we unfortunately heard the buzz of a drone, which hovered over my friend and passed over us four times. Drones are absolutely illegal in all national parks! Drone operators should respect the law and others’ rights to a peaceful escape from motorized intrusions. There aren’t many places we can go to escape these things, and of all places, #grandcanyon should be one of them. Besides, it’s just plain rude to hover a drone over anyone without their permission.
