lara sips her drink , just waiting for it to go quiet by the bar before she makes her way over . she sets down the empty glass before sitting down on one of the stools . she's aware of everyone currently in here , hence why she'd noticed immediately when her bracelet was gone . she clears her throat , eyebrow raising as she looks at the man behind the bar .

she's been floating in a haze of him since she'd met luca. a part of her is still there, blushing against her door as he kissed her good bye. she doesn't know what to make of it, the way he seems to dissolve her better judgement with one look. she's so distracted by her own thoughts that she doesn't notice the stares, the way people in the office keep, looking at her with an intense sort of scrutiny. at first she puts it down to the article, it's been out for a day--complete with an incredible photoshoot of luca. getting a feature like that was bound to attract some attention but then-- she sees her phone. and there are photos of them everywhere.

she's immediately recognizable to anyone who knows her, her hair still curling from the shower they'd stolen before he'd taken her home, her smile is wide-- her face is open, soft. luca is smiling in one of the pictures, his hand cups her cheek in another. they are kissing, it's passionate even in pixelated photos.

she sits in her chair, panic all over her face, and texts him.

andie: ....um, the article is out and it's--good but, well-- andie: it's-- there's pictures of us kissing luca. andie: everywhere. andie: everyone's been staring since i came in but i didn't think this was why-- andie: i'm--are you okay?
