@glittersrushâ
she wakes up with a pair of familiar arms around her waist. she isnât sure how they got here-- half entwined in an obnoxiously large hotel bed and for the first few moments after she wakes--she doesnât care. sheâs warm and safe-- and examining why she feels that way feels counter intuitive. she just wants to stay still. she pushes back slightly against his chest, snuggles a little closer and letâs the warmth pull her back under for a few slow minutes.
she drifts back into consciousness-- and into the realization that itâs patrickâs arms around her waist, and his breath fanning out against her neck. she looks down for a moment--and sees that sheâs wearing an old shirt of his clothed at the very least. she groans as the light hits her eyes. âfucking-- fuckity--fuckwit.â she never swears-- but sheâs panicked-- half scared she crossed a line that theyâd been tiptoeing around lately. her phone is flashing with a thousand notifications-- and it makes her want to crawl right back into his bed.Â
âpatrick.â she shakes him gently. âweâre--youâve got an interview in twenty minutes. radio phone in. câmon. youâve gotta wake up, love. hangovers are never a good excuse.â she gives him a sleepy smile. âthere you are.â she pats her hair down self consciously-- but her curls are riotous this morning and are in no mood to do anything other than fan out like a lions mane. âum--going to...ring for tea. do you want some?â
