#thea|interaction.

things have been weird for thea ever since she accidentally walked in on eden getting off, apparently while moaning her name. she ended up cancelling their shopping trip with the excuse that she was going to have to work a little extra so that they could go on their bigger out of town trip. it wasn't completely a lie however she probably could've seen eden if she wanted to. she just, for once in her life, didn't want to. it's not like she really has any negative feelings towards him because of it, it's just a lot to think about. it has thrown up questions for her to consider that she isn't sure she wants to consider. however, she's come to his meet and watches everything with the rapt attention that it deserves. only feeling a slight pit of dread that afterwards they'll be heading to the air bnb spot they'd grabbed alone for the next few days. it’s fine though. totally. this is eden. so, she forces a smile to her lips when he comes into sight. though she unusually doesn’t go in for a hug. “hey, you did great!”

she wasn’t really one for parties, didn’t like how messy they seemed to get. however, with them there thea just had turn up and it was a damn good thing she had. she found them sitting on a half empty couch and took the opportunity to straddle their lap, instantly taking the plastic cup from their hand and downing the liquor inside before tossing it casually over her shoulder. she didn’t exactly care if she hit a party-goer in the process. “i think you’ve had enough,” she decided, tone sickeningly sweet as if she was feigning to care should anyone around them hear. lowering her voice, she leaned in a little closer to ensure that only they’d be able to hear what she next had to say. “i swear if you keep making those damn eyes at the girl in the corner, i’ll drag her out of here by her fucking extensions. it’s not cute.”

"i brought some trinkets!" thea announces the second that eden opens the door to his apartment. call her a rather enthusiastic friend but she doesn't even wait to be invited inside before stepping around him to let herself in. "i thought we could work on home-ing this place up a bit. you know, make it look a little more lived in." not that there's necessarily anything wrong with the way that he's chosen to decorate but she herself tends to be opinionated about things. including what makes a house a home, etcetera. "oh... this place actually looks better than when i last came over. have you been working on it yourself?"

“do you want me to? it probably won’t hurt me as much…” certainly not enough for her to get something such as a broken ankle or other injury that might take her out of his path for a while. a small pout forms on thea’s lips at his obvious unhappiness with her efforts. granted, she knows he never intended for her to take matters into her own hands but was she really just supposed to sit and listen to chan-yeol’s complaints without acting upon them? “i thought i was helping. you seemed so upset yesterday!” she offers up her excuse with a slight wobble of her lower lip. feigned, of course, but she really isn’t sure what to do in these sorts of situations. “i thought if he was out of your hair you might be a little less stressed…”

"this is... this is wrong." she might've long since lost her halo but thea hasn't reached immoral levels yet. she still knows right from wrong and she knows this is the latter. perhaps latching on to the first person who was 'nice' to her was a bit of a mistake however it's a little too late for her to take it back now. she already trusts them, however unfortunately. "this is wrong, right?"

“he did trip,” she muttered under her breath, even if she knew jerry didn’t want to hear it. granted, he really did trip! over thea’s shoe… as she pushed him down the flight of stairs. she crossed her arms over her chest and frowned. “what am i supposed to do then? nothing? he was really annoying you, i thought i was doing you a favour!... even if i totally didn't do it.”

her knocking didn’t get any less frantic; the shaking of the handle almost enough to pull it off. thea didn’t want to die. she had too much of a life to live and apparently too much of it had been spent with the door for nothing asshole behind the door. she thought they were in love! how could someone that loved her do this? leave her out in the open with nowhere to turn? when a voice sounds out from behind her she became a little more desperate, hot tears spilling over and down her cheeks. she almost blanked him out completely but something in the back of her mind made her pause. “wh— what?” the tremble to her voice was apparent as she turned to face him. the man she’d watch take down her friends one by one sounded... sympathetic, almost. this had to be some sort of cruel joke, didn’t it? a way for him to savour the moment. “he’s… he was my boyfriend.” undoubtedly not anymore. not that it will matter soon, probably. her eyes shifted about but she realised quickly there was nowhere to go, her lower lip tucking in between her teeth. “are you being serious?”

"i've been flirting with you!" perhaps that isn't something everyone would be perceptive to, though. thea is a generally rather friendly individual. she lets out a little bit of a laugh and shakes her head. "all this time, i thought you were just super not interested and too polite to say anything! my little wounded ego had to get to the bottom of it."
