Every time my doctor says, you’re not allowed to run for months. And just want to say back to him, kill me already! 😞
So I’ve been having such a rough week without exercising. My foot still hurts. It hurt like hell after I tried to run to an emergency code at work.
The most amazing thing happen this morning. I was getting ready to go to work and was walking to my car. My neighbor who I never really talked to but was always polite thanked me. She told be that I inspired her to start running. She said that running is one of the only things that is keeping her from going crazy right now. I couldn’t believe it. My running is nothing fancy to me. But it helped someone else. I was touched and it helped.
So sad update. After a week or so of resting and icing and everything. I tried running today and it STILl HURTS. I’m very upset and sad. All I want to do is be able to run. It’s my positive outlet. I’m struggling. Gotta find a pool and do some lap swimming or something.
