I’m now taking non-prompt asks. Prompt asks are still open, however!

This ask as with many others, has been sitting in my inbox for quite some time. I’m finally getting around to them.

I didn’t have any opinions on any of them so I actually had to go listen to HBCIB in every single language again (and again and again) to be able to answer this 🤪 I’m biased toward the English version because I love Ed Helms and it’s the only version I can understand lol; most of the other languages all sound the same after a while. The Russian and Hebrew versions are p good tho! I have to admit the voice, presence, energy and acting in the Russian version are absolutely perfect and the little deviations from the original English one are rly fun to hear and I might prefer them over the original.

The Japanese, French (European), Finnish and Ukrainian versions are amazing too, I would check those out if you havent yet. The Japanese one is esp unique and fun in a good way, making nice changes just like the Russian one did. In the EU French one he straight up says he knows it’s bad, but that he doesn’t care O_O The Finnish one is somehow cute, fun, and makes me blush at the same time?? I love how the lyrics at the end are like, “Our PR stinks...but the lawyers deny it. Who cares if trees are dying... when I’m getting gold~?” instead of singing it as a list of separate things. And as for the Ukrainian one it ends with a very cool almost heavy metal growl which i rly liked

The German, Dutch, Polish, Korean, and Catalan versions are also great

I don’t know what’s up with the Hindi version go listen to see what I mean 😂 It’s cool in its own way tho LOL
