The history of the Nintendo VS Sega console wars is interesting to me.
It was Mario VS Sonic.
Mario won.
Nintendo fans got their victory, Sega fans held their L.
Nintendo and Sega buried the hatchet, and are now friends.
Nintendo allows Sega games to be put on Nintendo consoles.
Now we got Sega fans also becoming Nintendo fans, who now enjoy BOTH Mario AND Sonic. And likewise, we get a few Nintendo fans slowly warming up to Sonic, now also enjoying both franchises.
All is peaceful, everyone's happy, everyone's having fun just enjoying video games and letting bygones be bygones.
.... But then Nintendrones come along and act like the bit wars are still happening, slandering and shitting on Sonic (and anyone who enjoys Sonic) every nanosecond they get. And to this day, I have yet to see a single Sonic fan talk about Mario the way Mario fans talk about Sonic. It's always the Nintendo people acting like spiteful manchildren.
This kind of thing was tolerable when it was just 90's kids bickering on the schoolbus or on the playground, but y'all are grown up now.
