Sonic Archie wasn't afraid to make it's own ideas and concepts, it tried to make Sonic lore bigger and crazier than the games were. It got bolder with it's storytelling and art direction.

Sonic IDW is more in-line with the actual video games, it's much easier to get into and it can even be considered canon. It's something you'd actually expect a Sonic story to be.

And I think fans of one who are avoiding the other are really, truly missing out on something great.

Because Steam can be trusted with your digital shit.

There's still ways to share your digital games, there's refunds, they won't take your shit away even if it's delisted, etc.

Console isn't like that.

Hence why people are upset when Playstation does it, but not upset with Valve does it. It's not a double standard, it's a matter of which company treats the customer better.
