Ello! So, I've been reading up in Ninety and it got me thinking. A few scenarios have had both good and bad reactions to a kennel. But! What about a master who has a rather large kennel (like for larger dogs) that has a blanket over it to keep it semi dark that is kept in their office. Bunch of blankets in it. The master's idea is for the puppy to basically move in.
When he gets back from missions, if there's food in the kennel, he's supposed to go in and lay down(and eat). If not, he's supposed to hang out until the master gets back. Probably to cuddle him to some capacity. I just wanna see dog boy be happy😔
That’s perfect for him. A safe space to return to, close to his Master, where no one will hurt him so long as he’s hidden inside is a wonderful comfort for Ninety. You’re accepting him and trying to attend to his needs. You think of him as good enough to be worth that effort. He’ll dutifully return to the kennel as soon as he’s allowed, and with blanket permission in place, he’s not afraid to eat the food you’ve left for him or curl up and wait for you to get back. That kennel quickly becomes his favorite place in the world— aside from your lap, that is. And since it soothes his nerves to have somewhere safe to hide, he’s always happy to see you when you come back. Expect happy wiggles as he nuzzles into your hand, seeking pets and praise for following your orders while you were gone.
