I’m not sure personally whether Marie-Françoise Hébert was insulting Collot d'Herbois at the Cordeliers Club or if it was something else. Furthermore, Georges Avenel is sometimes unreliable and echoes the clichés of the French Revolution’s black legend, although some passages in his biography are accurate. Nevertheless, this passage remains amusing.

We don’t know if other sources confirm this dispute, but it’s still noteworthy.

Marie-Anne Babeuf had a violent quarrel with Guffroy, her husband’s printer (whom Babeuf and Guffroy would later have a political break with). One can only imagine Marie-Anne’s manipulation against Guffroy, knowing what he had done to them some time before. I don’t know whether I find it amusing or impressive that Marie-Anne stands up to Guffroy to the point that it escalates like this, and then the fact that she temporarily returns to him to better deceive or manipulate him.
