@jackobzielinski mentioned a fan translation in which Undertaker tells/reminds real Ciel that he has a daily activity time limit (or something along those lines), and now I’m wondering whether real Ciel can only be active in the evening/at night... which would be another classic “vampire trait”.

When have we seen him active vs when have we seen him asleep?

Active:

In the evening, after the S4 have been rehearsing, and Violet gets told by Blavat to give “Lord Sirius” more blood.

In the evening/at night, when the bizarre dolls are set loose on the Campania, except for him, then Undertaker collects him from his coffin, and real Ciel tries to bite Undertaker’s arm.

In the evening/at night, shooting Soma at the townhouse and then going to the manor.

Asleep:

When Lizzie visits him while he’s asleep on the lounge (at Sphere Music Hall). I’m not sure what time of day.

When Undertaker gives him some liquid to drink, real Ciel was asleep but woke up, then Undertaker told him it’s too early to wake up. Was it morning? Idk 😐

Here’s the thing; I don’t have enough info to say much else about it, but I’m just going to put it out there as a possibility. Otherwise, I can’t think of why there would be a time limit... unless it’s about a length of time only and has nothing to do with what time of day it is.

Until I have more info, I’m calling this a crack idea/crack theory.
