Such a fortunate man am I! My 53rd circumnavigation of the sun was celebrated in style thanks to the greatest partner on the planet. Dinner and cocktails with Erin and my Mother at @nickandstefsla was followed by the L.A. Phil performing selected pieces of classical music as they were used in some of Stanley Kubrick’s greatest films! You haven’t lived until you hear the entire Los Angeles Chorale “singing” the bizarre unsettling sounds that accompany the appearance of the Monolith in “2001”. Malcolm McDowell telling stories was pretty nice as well!
