Black culture in Bluefields, Nicaragua! ✊🏿🇳🇮
#HappyHispanicHeritageMonth
Can I be honest with you? Your blog is really weird! You hype white men who act black, and you tear down black men for acting white. You get mad at people for inviting white people to cookouts, but I bet if you were giving a chance, you would invite Mick Jagger or Tony to one. You stand up for people like the mixed race Princess when she openly talks about how she never had to endure what it's like to be black, but continuously calls her a black girl. You're very weird, but you did say you're from Nicaragua.
Clearly you can’t be honest with me. I don’t even think your monkey-ass can be honest with your damn self. If you think my blog is so “weird”…what the fuck are you doing here??? Why are you following my content then? I meeean, you can easily hit block or unfollow, but you didn’t. It’s lowkey (but high-key) giving "He a fan, he a fan, he a fan"! 😂 Also, when do I “hype white men”? The only people who get hyped up on this here blog is BLACK WOMEN. And you damn right, I will call out Black men for their patriarchy and racism every fucking time, especially when it puts our community at risk. Fuck is you talmbout. What you think? Racism, misogyny and homophobia is easier to swallow because it’s coming from a nigga???? Another thing, I’m not from Nicaragua. I’m a Black girl, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City to two Black-ass parents from the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. (A place I know your uncultured ass has never been to and probably never even heard of before I mentioned it.) It’s literally one of the BLACKEST places on earth. And yes, I don’t believe that white folks belong in our spaces just because they did the bare minimum. Not even my ✋🏻 colored faves. You are straight corny. Damn right I will stand up for mixed race/biracial Black folks, too. Meghan Markle never said she didn’t experience racism. She said that her experience is different because of what she looks like. She’s white presenting not “white passing” – big ass difference. Most people just assume that she’s white, so they always said crazy shit around her. She doesn’t phenotypically look like a Black girl, so most people won’t treat her like one right off the bat. Duh! Like, are you slow? Please go take your ass on somewhere. You have some motherfucking nerve questioning MY Blackness. These bitch ass niggas!!! 🙄🌽🏀

Nicaribbean Music Project: The music heard and created in Nicaragua's Caribbean coast is distinctly different from anything heard on the Pacific and pushes the boundaries of the meaning of ‘Nicaraguan’. Afro-descendants are present on the coast and they are neither silent nor stagnant. Bluefields musicians are using their art to engage in a process of self-making that disrupts hegemonic ideas of “Nicaraguan-ness” as defined by Pacific-based mestizo cultural forms.
