right, I forgot the ot expressed concern about oxygenation when I tried to describe "limbs???" which adds extra weight to the Weirdness of the spo2.
huh. I've watched my wife hold her breath to drive down the spo2 while using the pulse ox, just for fun. but even when I'm at the end of a breath singing, it still says 99-100. so there is actually something weird going on there. (when I checked the other day my spo2 was normal but my bp was low when I was having to breathe extra to get by.)
except I just reran the experiment and it dropped to 93 and stayed low for half a verse of not singing. so that's also weird. it also frequently reads much lower initially no matter which machine is getting used so idk if that's normal or not. and then running it again for two songs after a song off it didn't really dip at all until the second verse of the second song at the beginning of a phrase?
it doesn't seem to directly tie to my breathing at all? I tried just straight holding my breath like I've seen her do and it barely moved. even when my nails and tongue are visibly purpled and not due to cold it says my o2 is fine.
idk bro there's something up with all that but it doesn't readily show up on the machines so everyone just shrugs and moves on. my mom's spo2 never dips much even when she needs her nebulizer cuz her are so constricted.
interesting. I'm having extra trouble breathing like I do sometimes (beyond the mild trouble I now have all the time), and my spo2 is still 99 but my bp has dropped (113/74). hm.
I've had 4 flares of head/neck pain in the past week, and they seem to alternate sides. right side tues/wed, left side thurs, right side sun, left side tonight. which is weird I guess.

also I mentioned the spo2 idea to arin and she said actually elevated hemoglobin can be a sign of breathing issues because extra hemoglobin can get made to compensate for poor oxygenation, so that's Interesting.
also there seems to be another permanent little patch of rash on the back of my neck but I only ever see it when I cut my hair. (as in I only ever look there not it only ever shows up.)
arin listened to my lungs more carefully than she has been and she said yeah actually they are unusually quiet at the bottom where she doesn't usually check. which lines up with what I was feeling, like they get pulled up short only halfway down.
she was trying to explain some kind of condition to me that I don't think I get, cuz it sounds like "I can't breathe deeply anymore cuz I haven't been breathing deeply enough" which sounds like a stupid hypothesis especially given the known immune disorder known to be flaring?
