A Baptism, A Breakup, and the Birth of Someone New
What a beautiful way to end a beautiful day with beautiful people. How timely the title of what I came across today: “When the Journey Begins.”
Because today — my journey truly did.
Earlier, I stood before others and made a quiet but powerful declaration of faith through water baptism. When asked, “Why now? What’s your reason for getting baptized?” I gave the most honest answer my heart could speak:
“Of all the love, grace, and mercy He has shown me? Deserve ni Lord ang bagong ako.”
But what most people didn’t know was the deeper story behind that moment. This wasn’t just a religious event. It was a funeral for the old me… … and a celebration for the one God is now raising.
