My new flatmate, Etta. She is an absolute sweetie, so soft and snuggly, a year old. This is her first day living with me after finding and picking her up from the Humane Society last night, and this is her just flomping on my leg and pillow in happy trust. She’s still easily spooked, obviously my apartment is super new to her and every noise is strange, but she seems happy. You can see her spaying scar in the third pic, (hopefully) completely normal. Digital piano hunt
I lied about getting a new violin. Since my main instrument is going to be piano from now on, we decided that we should probably first get me a decent digital piano that will fit in my lovely new flat. I just can’t seem to make the choice between Yamaha and Roland. I went out to test a few pianos today - or more like a few selected Yamaha Clavinovas. It’s hard to pick out the best instrument when your parents are shouting next to you: “HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?” Also, I got the keys to my flat today. My roommate was obviously in the middle of moving in (though there was no sign of the actual person) and since the door to her room was wide open I just couldn’t help noticing there was a digital piano and a Totoro poster inside. Somehow, I’ve got a feeling we’ll get along quite well.
*giggles and imagines late nights spent playing ridiculous anime opening duets on piano and watching Studio Ghibli* Not fantasizing or anything. I just want to get along with my flatmate.
