She has completely zoned out next to the other, eyes trained on one spot as she thinks.

Not even about anything in particular, she wouldn't be able to recall it anyway.

She vaguely comes to as Atem's face slides into her view, and she notes that his lips are moving to say something.

He's really very pretty.

So pretty that by the time she's focusing again, she has lost entirely what he's been saying.

"Huh?"

She can see the exasperation in his eyes, and the downturn of his lips.

Oops.

"I'm sorry, Atem... I didn't mean to tune you out."

With a sweet smile of an apology, she cups his face in both hands and leans in, nuzzling his nose with hers lightly.

It's not quite a kiss, but its everything for the girl, who lets go and pulls away with pink dusting her cheeks.

Mokuba beams at the sight of his friend.

"Heya!!!!"

"Weeeell, there's the yearly Kaiba Corporation Charity Drive, so I'll be busy helping out. Nii-sama's been relying more and more on me to make it work, so I can't disappoint him!!!"

"But I'm only helping out with part of it, so I'll have some free time as well."

He looks a little shy as he asks,

Mokuba watches Atem quietly, looking back and forth at the elevator and then at Atem.

Surprisingly, no one shows up, even after a few minutes of waiting around. The security guards and receptionists just stare at them in mild annoyance, Mokuba's presence being the only reason why Atem hasn't been removed from the premises yet.

Bakura really should've known better. He had been living his life in relative peace--give or take some added trauma he was now forced to deal with. He was starting to think that at least if the Pharaoh stayed dead, he could make something of whatever new chance of life he was given.

Apparently, the Gods had other plans.

He had been on his way back to Ryou's place when he rounded the corner and saw none other than his arch nemesis walking directly towards him.

His eyes widened for a moment before a rather bitter expression took over his features. "...so the Gods revived you as well," he spat. "Why am I not surprised?"
