A truer statement has never been quoted! Being happy 😃 isn’t always easy, and it comes from within; in other words - YOU create your own happiness, and you also CHOOSE when, where, why and how to be happy. That’s the thing: you CAN choose. It’s hard af if you are depressed, or it feels like life is crumbling all around you - and it’s also not to say, that you’re not allowed to be sad sometimes (aren’t we all? Look at me . . .) But I pick myself up, dust myself off - and try again; CHOOSING to be happy (whether it’s real or not, even “fake it til you make it - bc in this case, it really does work). CHOOSE to smile, force it lol - and NOT for anyone else, not for other people - but for yourself! When you finally reach ACTUAL, real happiness? Oh, not only is it great because well - you are legit smiling, but it does make people that you might dislike (and vice versa) totally pissy 😂 lol. Just an added, extra benefit - not an INCENTIVE, bc the incentive should Always just be the same: “I want to be happy for me, BECAUSE I DESERVE IT.” And you do. You really, really do. So do I.
