So after seeing the poll results of my last post, it seemed like most people wanted to go with the globe-trotting treasure hunt aspect for the premise of X-Men Apocalypse.
And I'm glad because that was the one I wanted to do the most.
I'm pretty excited to do this fanfic series.
Not just because I love X-Men, but also because this will be my first fanfic with an emphasis on story.
If you've read anything from me, you'd probably know that just about all works I either just ideas or episodic series.
I figured it was time to see how I could do with a more story-driven approach.
To give you all the rundown of this upcoming series......
The X-Men here consists of Charles Xavier, Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Jean Grey-Summers, Rogue, Gambit, Beast, Jubilee, Morph, Nightcrawler, Bishop, Colossus, Shadowcat, Lockheed, Iceman, Psylocke, Magik and Archangel.
They're confronted by the mutant warrior Cable, who hails from 60 years in the future and came to warn them about it.
And in that future, the entire world has gone to shit, as it was conquered by Apocalypse, who was freed by their long-time foe Mr. Sinister and his Marauders.
And right now, Sinister is about set that plan into motion.
He's got a map that leads to 13 pyramids, each in a different part of the world, which all hold a piece of the key that was used to seal Apocalypse away millenniums ago.
And so, The X-Men are now off on a globe-trotting quest to obtain the pieces of the key before Sinister does.
Facing off against various mythical threats along the way.
The first season of this fanfic series (yes this will have more than one season) will consist of 13 episodes.
And here's the episode plan....
Episode 1: For the Future: The X-Men meet Cable for the first time and he gives them the run-down on what's going on.
