Brave ~ Never Alone Not everything in life is easy. Some days it feels like nothing is going right at all. It takes courage to face fears, disappointments, tears and difficulties. There is a part of me that wants to give in to the bad things that have been happening. I can wallow in self pity and feel miserable because there is nothing I can do to make a difference. I’ve given up. And that’s ok. Those feelings that I’m feeling now, make me understand what is important to me. So what is it that I really want? It’s the opposite of what is happening right now! This moment, when I can see past all the darkness to watch the spark of positivity grow, that is where I am at my bravest. Even if I can’t get up or in to action right this second: I know what I want and I have chosen to look past what I don’t want! I didn’t give in to the pressure of the weight of the world on my shoulders and I could see sunshine in the distance. It took courage to notice what took place here, because it was not pretty at all. And the bravery resonates in the deep breaths I take, in and out and in and out, as long as I need to, as many times as I wish....
