March 10th, 2019 || Happy Sunday! I’m back in Spain for a week 🙌🏼 to do some tests to confirm I’m celiac but I’m so happy I’m back to see family and friends and to enjoy the sunny weather ☀️ . So, today I bring you a bit of a reading update: - I finisjhed reading The Obelisk Gate and although I enjoyed it a lot, it wasn’t as good as The Fifth Season in my opinion. Kind of like “the second book in a series” syndrom. I have just started The Stone Sky and I’m excited to see how to story concludes. - I also dnfed How Saints Die by Carmen Marcus. I thought it was beautifully written but I didn’t enjoy the narrative structure and stopped at page 210. I gave it a fair shot but didn’t work in the end. - I’m still reading Dragonfly in Amber - being doing so for the last three months and I have to say it’s boring af. I read Outlander in less than a week but this one is just not holding my attention. However, I’ll finish it because I’m more than halfway through and it will feel like a waste after all the time I dedicated to it. . .
