“nelaros is so memorable to me because he’s introduced as this “good match” from the highever alienage (handsome, skilled, people in the alienage are hyping him up) and then the plot immediately tests whether he’s all talk. he isn’t. when you get taken, he’s one of the people who refuses to sit there and hope it ends well; he helps organize the rescue and goes in anyway, even though he’s just some guy who should’ve been worrying about vows and dowries, not storming a human noble’s house. and the fact he can die there is such a cruel little origins detail”

After work Vi headed out to Krag's bar. Something felt different this time. Usually after a one night stand she'd never think twice about the person, but weirdly Vinnie had been on her mind all day.
