Me, a fool: Traits associated with queerness and disability have both been consistently vilified and otherized throughout European and United States literary and artistic history, which is why you find yourself identifying with characters like Shego from Kim Possible with her queer-coded aesthetic, or Ursula from Little Mermaid with her drag queen-esque musical style combined with a way of taking up space in a room that you intrinsically associate with the butch dyke elders you know and love, or wheelchair-and-life-support-bound Davros from Doctor Who whose intellectual brilliance and searing ambition far exceed his physical capability (in sharp contrast to the Doctor's most common catchphrase and default escape plan, "Run!") Ā In other words, you imagine yourself as villainous because you have been denied positive representation, conditioning you to associate protagonists with alienation and side characters with helplessness, and leaving villainy the only form of power and confidence accessible to you.

The feeling when a side character critize and make fun of something about the main character, and no one cares except yoy bc you realize that it is a neurodivergent trait that you got too and it just makes you sooooo angry to hear someone critizising and joking about it... (sorry for ranting I just catched up on fav tv series and now i wanna bunch the main characters companion)
That sounds so terrible. Itās just awful that shows will do this, and that no one even realizes that itās so ableist. (Which might even lead to more ableism in shows and even in real life with bullying.)

Here is a list of the characters who, in having them die, would have made for a better story line in the ā l$tt$r for the k$ingā the killing off the gay character.

Arman: the progress this character made with tuiri through the series, from enemies to uneasy allies to good friends, his death as a sacrifice to save tuiri would have made for a great storyline and there could have been a great scene with arman apologising and tuiri forgiving him.
Piak: would have been a tragic death and I would have cried my eyes out but hear me out. Thereās a story to tell there of how he should never have left home in the first place, he was too young and he deserved to be treated better by his brother, and jussipoās actor would have made a great scene about getting revenge.
Lavinia: to sacrifice herself, to save the world, to give up her powers so that tuiri and all the others could live would have been a beautiful ending to her story. She would have been selfish to the moment she sacrificed herselfā¦ and she had the power, if she had died the power would have died with her. Now we just have this power running around being powerfulā¦
All in all. Burying the gays is a horrible fucking trope and how dare they kill off jussipo fuck you assholes LAVINIA HAD HEALING MAGIC SHE HEALED TUIRI SHE COULD HAVE HEALED JUSSIPO SHE JUST STOOD THERE WATCHING HIM DIE SHE DIDNT EVEN TRY FUCK YOU!!!

SPOILER: Look I am loving The Witcher and Yennefer is my fave, but I was highly annoyed that the director made the prince reject Fringilla the dark skin Black girl on the show for her. Like y'all couldn't make it so he peaced out on one of the white girls? And from jump Fringilla was portrayed as not smart enough from the first time we see her doing magic. The fact she was made an example of with the side effects of chaos pissed me off. Like this is not positive representation. It only furthers the agenda that dsbw are inept and undesirable.
