Well, kind off.

In Tales of The Shire, one of the NPCs is Nefi, the village's blacksmith and only dwarf, who was born in the Blue Mountains.

When you get to know her better, she gives you more dwarven tales, and in one of those, she talks about her family, formed by her mother and her uncle, Ori, who was in Thorin Oakenshield's company.

Weirdly enough, she doesn't say anything about Dori or Nori, but she mentions Balin and Ori's mission to recover Moria.

Because as I play this game and speak with Nefi I can tell that it’s weird how they’ve designed her and while I can appreciate her weirdness I know some people are probably mad with how she interacts with others.

For example she speaks very bluntly and very Drax esc (guardians of the galaxy)

But I wanna give y’all my head canon.

She’s just autistic.

I say this with love, like come on she has a duck friend she dresses like a Dwarf, she hyper-fixates on forging, she emphasises the differences between Hobbits and Dwarves almost as if she’s trying to make a connection. Also she talks about her crafts like they are people and I love that because I do that too.
