Let me show off my beautiful young Lady Balin😻

She’s the most beautiful lady, with such gorgeous hair. Just look at how wavy and shiny it is, those lovely lips, and that strong nose

She did such an amazing job with her quill! She perfectly incorporated the face of a barn owl into the tip of the quill, and it’s beautiful!

And the designs on the dress!! I gave her a normal reference, and she improved it threefold. I mean, LOOK AT HER!! It’s so geometric and beautifully dwarven. I absolutely love that the cut-outs have that gorgeous red colour, like tiny rubies hehe. She looks so noble, and she created such a gorgeous dress for her.

I want to read all of the nice headcanons you have!

I'll start with one of my favourites: Dwalin and Fíli. I think they've known each other for most of Fíli's life and Dwalin is like an uncle for Fíli and much softer with him then e.g. Thorin, who raises him to be his heir. So, Fíli often goes to Dwalin to talk about self-doubt and for advice. Also, Dwalin has a very soft heart and is really good at talking about emotions etc.

#there are many i love but special shoutout to Bilbo and Kili #Kili seems to genuinely like Bilbo from the get-go and bets in his favor about him joining the quest #I imagine he reminds Bilbo of one of his young Took cousins and cant help but feel protective over him #i also think there is a sort of structure to Bilbo’s early on predictable fussiness that Kili really likes #as a spoiled young prince who’s never been in real danger before he misses that sort of domesticity
