John the Baptist Prepares the Way
1 It was the fifteenth year of the rule of Tiberius Caesar. These men were under Caesar: Pontius Pilate, the ruler of Judea; Herod, the ruler of Galilee; Philip, Herodâs brother, the ruler of Iturea and Traconitis; and Lysanias, the ruler of Abilene. 2 Annas and Caiaphas were the high priests. At this time, the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the desert. 3 He went all over the area around the Jordan River preaching a baptism of changed hearts and lives for the forgiveness of sins. 4 As it is written in the book of Isaiah the prophet:
âThis is a voice of one who calls out in the desert: âPrepare the way for the Lord. Make the road straight for him. 5 Every valley should be filled in, and every mountain and hill should be made flat. Roads with turns should be made straight, and rough roads should be made smooth. 6 And all people will know about the salvation of God!ââ Isaiah 40:3â5
7 To the crowds of people who came to be baptized by John, he said, âYou are all snakes! Who warned you to run away from Godâs coming punishment? 8 Do the things that show you really have changed your hearts and lives. Donât begin to say to yourselves, âAbraham is our father.â I tell you that God could make children for Abraham from these rocks. 9 The ax is now ready to cut down the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.â
10 The people asked John, âThen what should we do?â
11 John answered, âIf you have two shirts, share with the person who does not have one. If you have food, share that also.â
12 Even tax collectors came to John to be baptized. They said to him, âTeacher, what should we do?â
13 John said to them, âDonât take more taxes from people than you have been ordered to take.â
14 The soldiers asked John, âWhat about us? What should we do?â
John said to them, âDonât force people to give you money, and donât lie about them. Be satisfied with the pay you get.â
15 Since the people were hoping for the Christ to come, they wondered if John might be the one.
16 John answered everyone, âI baptize you with water, but there is one coming who is greater than I am. I am not good enough to untie his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 17 He will come ready to clean the grain, separating the good grain from the chaff. He will put the good part of the grain into his barn, but he will burn the chaff with a fire that cannot be put out.â 18 And John continued to preach the Good News, saying many other things to encourage the people.
19 But John spoke against Herod, the governor, because of his sin with Herodias, the wife of Herodâs brother, and because of the many other evil things Herod did. 20 So Herod did something even worse: He put John in prison. â Luke 3:1-20 | New Century Version (NCV) The Holy Bible, New Century VersionÂź. John the Baptist Prepares the Way
Well hey, if you like visual novels I've got one comin up in a few hours
Necroverse Chapter 2 is finally complete!
Sure would suck to have "Lead Dev" in my bio if I had nothing to show for it. I'll reblog with the itch link once I've got it all set :)
Is it finally over? Have they finally stopped dragging things from this franchise through the mud? Am I finally free? Will everyone finally shut up about this show so I don't feel crappy because of it anymore?
Like I likely didn't get my "GOT S8-tier heckup" ending, but I just wanna escape from this bullcrap at this point.
NCV (Nanocellulose Vehicle)
Kyoto University supported by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan,
Body made from cellulose nanofiber, or CNF derived from wood-pulp, which can be grown, unlike metal which can only be recycled.
CNF is that itâs 80% lighter than steel and 5 times stronger. Itâs derived from wood pulp, a raw material produced using forestry and agricultural waste, essentially turning refuse into an incredibly capable material that can replace metal, plastic, and glass.

April Fools!
As you all know, it is April the First. This is an informative post (mostly).Â
So, first off, show a little human decency and remember: No corona jokes! No pranks about anything like that! Nothing about diseases, illnesses, mental health, threats, or anything else like that. No pranks that arenât harmless, and please no screamers/ jumpscares. Not over the internet, and not to me. Those arenât harmless, and have given me severe... issues. Please, show a little human decency.
Secondly, Remember the bing thing. Our mission this year is to make âbingâ the most popular search on the search engine âgoogleâ by the end of the day. Keep at it, folks! We can get there!
Thirdly, did you know that in France, April Fools day is called âPoisson Dâavrilâ? That means âApril fishâ or âfish of Aprilâ. In France, there is a tradition where you make a paper fish (I have seen some really beautifully decorated ones, let me tell you) and stick it to someoneâs back as a harmless prank. Here is a good article explaining why, if anyone is interested.
Lastly, remember to have fun, and have an awesome day! Happy new Year, everyone!
I did some cosplays for nÀrcon vinter! It was super fun, I had a great time!!! Thanks @skeppsbrott for letting me borrow your Cronus :D
