Okay, so wow. There’s been so much stuff going around about SM mistreatment and Haechan’s insensitive comments and an ‘overly touchy’ female manager : so let’s address them.

FIRST OFF; Haechan’s insensitive and frankly rather ignorant (changed it from racist to ignorant) comment about Chenle’s cornrows. It’s wrong. It really is. And no one should be defending them saying ‘oH thEY diNDnt Do ANything wRONG’, yes, he did. What SM should do is to educate not only him, but the other members, about POC or other cultures so that the dreamies can understand a lot better. Especially since SM is a pretty global company, forcing your idols to learn more about POC can be beneficial and good. Obviously i think Haechan genuinely didn’t know how offensive the comment was, but I think it’s better to educate him rather than CANCEL him -- since the majority of Korea is like that. They aren’t a diverse place when it comes to POC. So instead of bashing Haechan -- educate him. The greatest thing you could ever give to anybody is the gift of understanding. The comments made towards POC isn’t just from one specific person -- all over Korea they think like that because they aren’t taught better. This isn’t JUST Haechan’s fault -- it’s partially the company’s because they need to educate their idols, and it’s partially the society of Korea and how they think and treat POC. It’s hard for me to imagine what it’s like in Korea because I’m from America, and while we do still have problems, we’re also extremely diverse. What Haechan said is dumb and insensitive and plain ignorant-- but it’s better to educate them rather than bash them. Also, SM what’s up with giving your idols ethnic hairstyles and completely ignoring fans who tell you to not do that? sigh

SECOND OFF; Renjun and him facing harassment and having to get another ride because one of their manager’s wanted to sit next to Jeno? What...the FUCK. That’s wrong. The whole China line is always mistreated in some way, and while I know relations between Korea and China aren’t great, this is just....disgusting. Not only is this SPECULATED to be the same female manager that told Renjun to shut up on Vlive, she also is said to be overly touchy with Jeno.....bro. I don’t know much, but if you’re literally putting down any of the members,,,,Jeno isn’t going to go, “wow she’s so pretty” he’s going to think, “wow, what the FUCK”. I don’t know much about this situation, but SM needs to do something about this shit QUICK, they need to STOP disrespecting the China line (like Winwin and Renjun) and do something about that touchy manager and her obvious put down of Renjun....just to be closer to Jeno. Ew. 

THIRD OFF: While these issues need to be faced, its important to educate the members, and also still support them. They...are literally only 19 about to turn 20 in international age, and Chenle and Jisung are still 17 international age. They make mistakes. They need to own up to them and apologize, because that’s the only way to grow, but it’s still important to support them. I imagine that it’s also hard for them, seeing Renjun being mistreated and the backlash for Haechans comments. They are probably going through a lot too. You shouldn’t cancel them because of a few mistakes they’ve made. They’re celebrities, so everything to do is magnified. Wouldn't it suck if you work so hard for things, then all of a sudden you make one bad mistake and then people just HATE you? Even though you’ve really done nothing before? That’s the pressure celebrities are under. Especially in Korea where the idol’s lives are so closely controlled and they’re put on such high pedestals. EDUCATE Haechan. Don’t cancel him. TREAT THE CHINA LINE AND NCT IN GENERAL RIGHT. (cough SM cough). I don’t know how to stress this enough....the Dreamies are Human. They obviously make mistakes. But it’s like when you’re friend makes a mistake...you don’t just throw them out the window, right? You tell them what they did wrong and educate them about their mistake. All in all...we should all stick together as a fandom to get through this really rough patch, and help educate one another. The greatest gift you could ever give to anyone is the gift of understanding. 

ALSO, please rb or comment or whatever anything I may have gotten wrong or thing you should add. Haechan’s comment was about black people, and I’m not black (i’m hispanic) so if I don’t understand anything, please tell me. Let’s all support one another....that’s the most important thing -- let’s get through this rough patch, together.
