I have loved visiting The Brickworks for years, even before the buildings were renovated.  I remember going early one Sunday morning and discovering the fence around the main building down.  Upon closer inspection I found hundreds of foot prints in the mud and wondered WHAT had been going on.  I carefully eased my way over the fence and around the mud and entered the dilapidated building.  Because no work had been done, there were random pile of bricks, rooms of fuse boxes and far inside a single candle was burning on a stair landing.  Ah Ha! It was the remains of a rave which had ended merely a few hours before I arrived.  Well, I am a little too old for raves, and even a little to old to investigate a ruin but I could not help but look around and departed a while later from seemed a rather spooky abandoned building.  Now the buildings are cleaned up and safe for everyone, and the meadows/ponds are a sight to behold.  Here are a few shots taken there:)
